As the year draws to a close, we reflect on what truly matters – connecting Australians. Guided by our Purpose to accelerate a digitised future for our communities, 2025 has been a year of progress and impact, with our people working alongside our customers and partners to provide digital infrastructure that connects Australians now and into the future.

The Board is pleased to announce that, following a comprehensive global search, Emilio Romeo has been appointed as Indara’s Chief Executive Officer effective 2 February 2026.

As we formally close out FY25, I wanted to thank our customers for the opportunity to continue partner with them in connecting Australians.  I also want to acknowledge the ongoing support and commitment from the internal Indara teams and our suppliers as the driving force of our success, from building new towers, to providing services and colocations.

To address the connectivity issues at Yarrabah, Optus commissioned Indara to acquire and build a telecommunications tower, reinforcing the strong partnership between the two companies in delivering essential infrastructure. The project was made possible by funding from the Australian Government under Round 4 of the Mobile Black Spot Program (MBSP) along with contributions from the Queensland Government, and Optus.

Indara has been recognised as the “Best Mobile Infrastructure Provider” at the prestigious CommsDay Edison Awards (“the Eddys”), celebrating excellence in Australia’s telecommunications sector.
