As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on our purpose, progress and innovation. At Indara, our purpose, to accelerate a digitised future for our communities, and our vision, to be the leading provider of digital infrastructure, have guided our decisions and actions.

Expanding our infrastructure footprint

In the last three years Indara built 318 sites across Australia strengthening our infrastructure footprint to deliver high-quality communication services to communities nationwide. In 2024 alone, Indara also facilitated 5G upgrades across approximately 1,000 sites.

From towers to rooftops and small cells, our work enables Australians to stay connected in today’s digital age.

One standout example of our impact is the new tower built in Yarrabah, Far North Queensland. Located just 10km from Cairns, this First Nations community has long experienced connectivity barriers that limited social and economic opportunities. In partnership with a leading wireless carrier and Ventia, Indara is helping to close these gaps with a tower that will deliver essential mobile services to Yarrabah. This milestone exemplifies our commitment to empowering regional communities and fostering inclusive growth.

From enabling regional connectivity to capacity & infills for metro densification

In metro areas, Indara continues to address the rising demand for network densification. Blacktown, NSW, is a prime example of our efforts to increase capacity and deliver infill sites for growing urban areas. By supporting mobile carriers in these high-density regions, we’re ensuring that metro communities stay connected to whatever matters most to them.

Celebrating innovation & excellence with our subsidiaries

2024 also marked significant milestones for our subsidiaries:

HUB, our urban infrastructure specialist, launched a refreshed website and expanded its product range, showcasing innovations like the Light Pole and TOWER.NODE. TOWER.NODE earned two Good Design Awards, recognising the smart infrastructure, combining sports field lighting with built-in digital connectivity. From streamlining infrastructure solutions to supporting the integration of telecommunications in modern spaces, HUB continues to empower the creators of our cities.

Structel, our engineering subsidiary, celebrated an impressive 30 years of delivering innovative and reliable solutions, reinforcing its reputation as a leader in the field.

Driving progress

Indara’s recent achievements reflect our dedication to enabling connectivity, fostering innovation, and supporting communities nation-wide. As we continue to grow, we remain focused on our purpose of empowering Australian communities’ digital future.
