Contractor Pre-qualification
In order to be eligible for contractor work, Indara requires you to provide evidence of WHS pre-qualification. The HSEQ review is performed to ensure, as far as reasonably practicable that the proposed vendor / contractor has:
-
Safe Systems of Work in Place
-
Qualifications suitable to perform the works (e.g., trade licences, engineers, builder licences current, surveyors)
-
Health Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems in place relevant to the works being performed
-
Currency of Workers Compensation Insurance for workers on Indara sites
-
Current Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance as relevant
Contractors will be requested to submit their documentation through the Donesafe system as relevant to the scope of activities and works and the related risks as identified by the requestor and Indaras HSEQ.
The Modern Slavery survey (available on Donesafe) shall also be submitted as part of the pre-qualification process.
To submit a request for contractor pre-qualification, please contact us.
Work Health and Safety (WHS) Event Reporting at Indara Sites
Indara have systems in place to ensure all HSE incidents and Quality issues are reported, investigated, and Corrective Actions implemented. The early reporting of incidents enables Indara to better prevent further injury / damage and make improvements to our sites and systems.
Contractors must report all Health, Safety and Environmental incidents which occur on Indara sites or relating to work performed for Indara.
Incidents, hazards or near misses which occur on a New Build site must be reported through the Donesafe system. These must also be reported to the relevant Indara Project Manager / primary contact as well as a member of the HSEQ team by emailing safety@indara.com, within 24 hours of the event occurring and only after immediate safety or security matters have been addressed.
Incidents, hazards and near misses which occur on an existing Indara site during maintenance, tower upgrade or other, must be reported through the digital Site Access Permit (SAP) or by phone to the Indara Site Management Centre (SMC) – 1800 006 667. This ensures site hazard information can be updated, relevant actions taken and ensures information relating to the incident and permit are linked. Refer to Digital Site Permits guide for information on Indaras Site Access Permits.
All serious incidents on any Indara site, including injuries, near misses and reportable incidents must be made to Indara Head of Risk, HSEQ and Compliance and relevant Indara Project Manager/primary contact directly, within 24 hours and only after immediate safety or security matters have been addressed.

Contractor Induction for Indara Sites
At Indara sites, all contractors—including supervisors, employees, sub-contractors, and regular visitors—are required to complete the online contractor induction course before accessing the site. This induction covers Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements applicable to all Indara sites and specific business units.
The Indara WHS induction course is accessible via the Indara Thinkific training platform. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive an email from Thinkific website, serving as your evidence of completion. Remember to present this evidence when working on Indara sites.
To access Indara WHS Inductions, following the Indara Induction guide.
