Justin Forsell

Justin is an experienced General Counsel, Company Secretary, and leader with over 25 years’ multi-sector experience across telecommunications, infrastructure, technology, cybersecurity and defence. He has extensive experience in corporate legal services, transactions, analysis and advisory, litigation, dispute management, security, regulatory issues, government relations, governance, team engagement and CSR.

Prior to Indara, Justin held senior leadership roles including Group General Counsel & Company Secretary at Macquarie Technology Group (ASX:MAQ), and Chief Legal Counsel at NBN Co, where he was also responsible for all Security functions. His experience comprises General Counsel & Head of Governance at Vodafone Australia, Head of Legal at BT Group Japan, and Head of Legal - Group Strategy at British Telecommunications plc in the UK. Justin commenced his career in telecommunications law with Hutchison Telecom in Hong Kong, following a foundational period in private legal practice.

Justin has an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Sydney, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Victoria University in Wellington, NZ. He was awarded as the Australian In-House Lawyer of the Year, and led the Australian Deal of the Year, Projects Deal of the Year, and TMT Team of the Year at various Australian Law Awards.
