Ben White
Director
Ben has over 18 years of experience in telecommunications, media and technology. He is currently the CEO of AARNet, Australia’s academic and research network.
Prior to this he was a long-standing member of the Optus senior executive team in a wide variety of roles across the Consumer, Business, Enterprise, Wholesale and Satellite divisions, along with time leading Strategy and Corporate Development.
Prior to Optus Ben worked for over 10 years as a management consultant with Bain & Company in North and Central America, Europe and the Asia Pacific.
Ben was also previously the Chair and Non-Executive Director of Southern Cross Cables, and a Non-Executive Director of the Bridge Alliance.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Sydney and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
